The face of Harrisburg Shopping—bringing not just items, but connection, care, and dignity to every doorstep. You’re often the only visitor some of our neighbors will see all week—or even all month. You knock on doors that have been closed too long and greet those who feel forgotten. From installing a lightbulb to assembling a table, you do more than deliver—you bring hope and companionship.

You deliver to the elderly, the homebound, the confused neighbor who can’t remember ordering, the disabled veteran who once guarded us all, and the grandmother who just wants a friendly chat about the weather.

Even if you can deliver just once a month, they need you.  You are their lifeline to the outside world.

With patience, kindness, and a listening ear, you help our neighbors who may feel overwhelmed by technology. By answering questions, walking through orders, and offering encouragement, you help turn a daunting experience into a simple connection to the things they need.

For many, you’re more than just support—you’re a comforting voice in a confusing world. You may even be speaking to someone who hasn’t spoken to another person in months.

Over the years, our word-of-mouth, volunteer-powered network has delivered essentials to hundreds of homebound residents, helping them stay safe, independent, and connected.
